A Veteran’s Thoughts

In a few days early voting will begin. I believe the most important thing to consider between the two candidates is which one do you believe. Of the two candidates, I believe what Donald J. Trump is saying and I do not believe for a moment the things Kamela Harris is saying. There is a phrase being repeated by many Americans who support Trump, “Promises made; Promises kept.” The Harris campaign is gaslighting the voters by trying to make us believe that Trump had a failing presidency. I can’t imagine that it’s going to work.
This year the election is coming down to two different views of America. Trump repeats over and over about how much he loves the American way of life and is trying to preserve that way of life for every citizen. I have not heard the Harris campaign say one word about her love of America. If you look honestly at her history, you’ll find derogatory things she has said about this country and the things she has actively done to “Fundamentally change America” which is not making America a better place to live.
Yes, I know there are a lot of people who do not like anything about Donald Trump. They have drunk the Kool-Aid of what the Left has been force feeding them since Trump took the golden escalator to the ground floor of Trump Tower. I know he is bombastic at times; he is gruff and even rude. He is prone to embellish his accomplishments, but name one politician who doesn’t do that. Some are just smoother and more polished when they do the same thing. One of the things I love about Trump is he is not a politician, which in my mind makes him more credible than most.
I have a few questions, and I encourage your response, (email me at Ski@skiingram.com). What kind of America do you want to live in? What kind of America do you want your children, your grandchildren to live in? I want an America that is powerful again. I want an America that is wealthy again. I want an America that is strong again. I want an America that is proud again. I want an America that is safe again and I want an America that is great again.
I believe every America-loving person in the country wants these same things. If you do not want these things for America, I assume you approve of the illegal immigration, the crime, the high inflation, the high taxes, the drugs coming across our porous border, and the high gas prices as the government tries to move us all into electric vehicles.
When Trump embellishes his record, the Left call him a liar. But when Harris lies about her record it is said she is evolving. She now wants to close the border and put the drug cartels in prison. She has even co-opted Trump’s idea of not taxing tips. She has not given credit to Trump, so I’ll call it plagiarism. I guess she learned that from Joe Biden.
I have a new nickname for Ms. Harris, Kamala 180. She has done a complete about face on almost everything she has touted before her coronation. This notion of saving democracy started with Joe Biden and has carried over into the Harris campaign. She says she is going to save democracy. Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s the Left, with their surrogates in the news media and social media platforms that are destroying democracy.
How has the Left preserved democracy when they forced Biden off the ticket and crowned Kamala as the new Democratic nominee? They ignored the millions of people who already voted for Joe Biden as their nominee. It’s just more proof that they do not care about you. They must have decided that Joe didn’t have a chance of being reelected. What is democratic about disenfranchising millions of voters? Remember that just a few short weeks ago they were plotting to dump Kamala from the ticket, instead they ended up dumping Joe.
How is it democratic to make up lies about an opponent and even try over and over again to put him in jail? We now know that the Russan hoax was a big lie, that the Hunter Biden’s laptop is real. Is it possible the 51, so called intelligence officers, lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop being Russian disinformation? I think so.
Let’s not forget that Tim Walz, when he was the Governor of Minnesota, had what can only be called a “snitch line” where people could report on their family, friends, and neighbors when and if the violated one of Waltz’ many Covid restrictions. How is that preserving Democracy?
Let us remember, when casting your vote, that Kamala 180 has just recently changed her opinion on what she once believed while at the same time trying to make us believe that her values have not changed. She is now against the EV mandate, no longer wants to Decriminalize border crossings, reversed her stance on Medicare for all, is now against buying back your lawfully obtained guns, changed her mind and says that she is for fracking and no longer opposed to offshore drilling, and much more. Kamala 180 is now in favor of most of the things she was against before her coronation as the Democratic nominee. I have a question, is she lying now, or was she lying then?
If you voted for Joe Biden because he said he was a uniter and not a divider. If you voted for him because he said that he was the only one who could end the chaos in Washington, and you fell for the lie that Joe was healthy and capable of doing the job as President. If you believed all of those lies and now regret your decision to vote for Joe, please do not make that same mistake by believing Kamala 180 and casting your vote for her. It may be the biggest mistake of your/our lives.
